Went to Up Dharma Down's 3rd album launch after FOUR LONG YEARS. They say the third is always the most challenging to finish because it's a make or break.
Nice to see familiar faces at the event. Brings me back to my Cubao X days when I used to call it my second home.
There goes my girlfriend having her first taste of UDD live.
I feel so out of place. Look at that uptight barong #kumustanaman
One Esplanade seemed like an unlikely venue at first, but was surprised it was seriously packed. In fact, a lot of people could no longer get in.
I have been a fan since 2006 and this event was definitely something to look forward to. It did not disappoint.
I heard a girl telling her friend, "In fairness, sumasayaw na si Armi." #bawal?
I love how Up Dharma Down continues to evolve. Their music takes you on their personal journey.
They sound so different now. Different yet still familiar. #naks #deep
You could see each member was having so much fun performing. They have grown and remained the same.
Armi takes our photo on instagram. Crowd goes wild!
Each of their album gave a glimpse of their emotional roller coaster. But Capacities sounded different. It is a start of something new. Not only is it "fresh", but it is playful, braver, forward, and elating. (It's no longer that depressing too. LOL)
That is not the case with UDD. They have made a mark and set the bar, AGAIN.
Thank you, guys for the new album. It was worth the long wait. I will forever be a fan. *Oscar clap*
